For Kids


Children of all ages are invited to learn about art while having lots of fun in our kids’ programs and workshops, with our unique educational offerings throughout the year!

Art and Nature Weeklong Experience. From July 30 to August 3, children ages 8–11 learn how nature inspires both art and music through the exploration of landscape painting and music. Afternoon Art for Kids. On four Wednesdays from 3:00–4:00 pm, take part in art classes for kids ages 4–8. Class size is limited; pre-register by calling Sara DeSalvatore at (607) 547-1461. $5 per session.

Slumber Party for Girls. Each spring, girls ages 7–12 have a fun night of investigation, discovery, and observation! History and art come alive as they work toward Girl Scout badges and have lots of sleepover fun. You don't have to a be a Girl Scout to participate! (Date of the 2014 Slumber Party to be determined.)
