Join artist David Levinthal for a special presentation as he discusses and showcases images from his decades-spanning career. Levinthal uses large format cameras to photograph toys and collectibles in specially created dioramas, exploring history and pop culture in his photographs that blur the line between fantasy and reality. The exhibit, History: Photographs by David Levinthal is on display at Fenimore Art Museum through 2018.

David Levinthal’s photography is included in the collections of the Whitney Museum of Art, the Museum of Modern Art, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. David’s retrospective, David Levinthal: War, Myth, Desire opens at the George Eastman Museum on June 2nd, 2018 and will run through December 30th, 2018. His new book, David Levinthal: War Myth Desire, will be released in June 2018 in conjunction with this exhibition. This new book will be sold as a monograph as well as a limited edition collector’s box set.
