Food for Thought: Native Basketry in the Thaw Collection
Join us for a delicious buffet luncheon followed by a special presentation and tour led by Christina Burke, Thaw Curator of Native American Art, as she shares exciting new research on some of the beautiful woven baskets from the California/Great Basin area in our collection. Through correspondence and photo evidence she will trace the baskets’ history from their making to their arrival here in Cooperstown.
