Four-Day Portrait & Family Photography Workshop for Adults

Hone your camera skills in photographing candid family moments and impactful portraits using natural light in this four-day workshop. Manager of Arts Education and photographer Kevin Gray will discuss compositional and technical camera techniques as well as methods for interacting with their photographic subjects to create images that tell stories, capture personality, and record important moments. Participants will view the exhibit, The Linda McCartney Retrospective: From the Light, and learn how McCartney utilized her camera to document her family and the famous musicians in a natural and compelling manner. Weekly shooting assignments will help to put these lessons into practice. This program is suitable for participants with only cell phone cameras but is optimized for those with digital SLR or mirrorless cameras.
