Haudenosaunee Social Dancing – A Living Tradition
Bring the whole family as Perry Ground (Onondaga, Turtle Clan) and the Six Nations Dancers share traditional social dances the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) have performed for years! Audiences will be invited to join in and share in this fun, exciting, and educational expression of Haudenosaunee culture in dances related to the natural world (Duck, Robin, Snake) and daily life (Canoe, Smoke, Women’s Shuffle). Two performances lakeside at our beautiful Lucy B. Hamilton Amphitheater (or indoors at our Auditorium if inclement weather), at 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm!
$20 adult/$10 members/Free for children 12 and under!
Admission to the museum is included with tickets to this event.
