Painting Fundamentals: Focal Point with Susan Jones Kenyon (CANCELED)


Join artist Susan Jones Kenyon for a three-hour, single-day class and learn how to look at an image and see the painting within. What’s the point…where is the painting? This class will help you cut through the clutter and see how to assemble a beautiful composition. All skill levels welcome. All materials are included – Golden Open Acrylics (slow-drying), tabletop easels, stretched canvases, paint containers and brushes.

Susan Jones Kenyon is a self-taught, impressionist painter from Cooperstown, NY. She has been painting for over 30 years, focusing on ethereal landscapes. In 2013, Fenimore Art Museum exhibited fourteen of her works in a season-long exhibition entitled Places in Passing and acquired one of her works for its permanent collection which includes artworks from Thomas Cole, Anna Mary “Grandma” Moses, and other important American artists. Her paintings and other works have sold nationally and internationally to corporate and personal clients.
