This 3-day workshop is designed for adults who wish to learn more about their digital cameras, in particular their digital SLR or mirrorless cameras. We will explore the grounds of Fenimore Art Museum and The Farmers’ Museum after-hours, discussing a variety of photographic subjects including landscape and nature photography, portraiture, and more. We will explore the use of shutter speeds and aperture, and discuss proper camera settings in various lighting conditions. Students are encouraged to bring any camera equipment they wish to experiment with, including lenses and tripods.
The instructor, Kevin Gray, is Manager of Arts Education at Fenimore Art Museum and also a photographer with over 20 years experience. He teaches photography as an adjunct professor at Hartwick College in Oneonta, NY.
