This 3-day workshop (July 15, 16, & 17) is designed for adults who wish to learn more about their digital cameras, in particular their digital SLR or mirrorless cameras. We will explore the grounds of Fenimore Art Museum and The Farmers’ Museum after-hours, discussing a variety of photographic subjects including landscape and nature photography, portraiture, and more. We will explore the use of shutter speeds & aperture and discuss proper camera settings in various lighting conditions. We will also discuss options for editing/post processing their photographs. Students are encouraged to bring any camera equipment they wish to experiment with, including lenses and tripods. The instructor, Kevin Q. Gray, is Manager of Arts Education at Fenimore Art Museum and is also a photographer with over 20 years’ experience. He teaches photography as an adjunct professor at Hartwick College in Oneonta, NY.
