Preschool Tuesday
Our popular walk-in program for toddlers and their families continues this spring with a series of programs, each including a storytime, gallery walk, and hands-on craft. Each week we will explore a different theme and look at a wide variety of artworks with activities designed to engage the youngest museum visitors.
Weekly Themes (April – May):
- April 7 – Tavern Signs, make your own sign painting
- April 14 – National Gardening Day, decorate a flower pot
- April 21 – Animals of North America, make a clay animal and habitat box
- April 28 – Exploring the Weather in Art, make your own cloudy cotton ball artwork
- May 5 – A visit to Otsego: A Meeting Place, beading activity
- May 12 – Look at Faded Elegance, make a room collage
- May 19 – Look at our photography art cart, make sun prints
- May 26 – Look at landscape paintings, make a plein air painting outside
Preschool Tuesday requires no advance registration, and is included FREE with museum admission.
