“But, soft! what light through yonder window breaks?” Fenimore Art Museum’s Glimmer Globe Theatre is thrilled to present William Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet” this summer in the Lucy B. Hamilton Amphitheater on Wednesdays and Thursdays, July 6–August 11, at 7:00 p.m., with an additional performance on Tuesday, August 9. Experience the timeless story of star-crossed love brought to life on the shores of Otsego Lake. “My only love sprung from my only hate.” Two youths find one another amidst the chaos swirling around them. Romance, tragedy, comedy, flesh and blood, joy and heartbreak… “O, she doth teach the torches to burn bright.” Whether this is your first Shakespeare show or your hundredth, we welcome you with open arms.
