Free Admission Opportunities

Fenimore Art Museum and Fenimore Farm offer free admission to:
– Ages 19 and under (Fenimore Art Museum) / Ages 6 and under (Fenimore Farm)
– Museum Members
– Active military and retired career military personnel (Please show military ID.)
– Anyone receiving SNAP benefits–up to 4 people. (Please show your SNAP EBT card.)

“Free admission” refers to our regular museum admission offered April 1-December 31 (Fenimore Art Museum) and April 1-October 31 (Fenimore Farm). Free admission may not apply to certain museum events and paid programs.

The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, Fenimore Farm, and Fenimore Art Museum have joined Museums for All, a signature access program of the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), administered by the Association of Children’s Museums (ACM), to encourage people of all backgrounds to visit museums regularly and build lifelong museum-going habits. This program will provide those receiving food assistance (SNAP) benefits with free admission, for up to four people, when they visit any of these three Cooperstown based museums, with the presentation of a SNAP Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) card.
